Vale Of A Million Dreams

Walking beneath the vale of a million dreams,
visions enchanting life with serenity,
I wandered to realms of consciousness long past;
yet to come; held sacred fruit fallen to snakes ––
beheld joyful smile from a Flower Princess
on sand, the while my untransmuted body
felt streams flowing eyes to ears and kissing me
within the confines of my turbulent heart.
Peaceful dreams resigned this fate to me, and I
whispered gratitude for forms of love bestowed
upon my restless spirit: sleep fell like lead,
and I fell dead to lifelessness of living ––
traversed tundras with calm, breathing the cold air
as adventurous scenery bade me walk.
