Away, away — to a brighter day!
Somewhere far beyond the stars,
somewhere high above the pain,
somewhere deep within the heart,
somewhere sweeter than the rain…

(If all illusions faded and time dilated
to a broader view, separating false from true,
would the colors splatter across glass shattered
and ricochet like prisms within mental prisons?)

Away, away — to a brighter day!
Sometime after the deceptions,
sometime lost within true bliss,
sometime softer than reflections,
sometime wrapped inside a kiss…

(When all intrusions silence their cruel violence
into calmer streams, awakened by singing dreams,
will the blissful faces be seen in spaces
resembling future visions or their past incisions?)
